and all you have is nothing

Today, and yesterday, I had meals full of CARBOHYDRATES. Yes, I'm being all biological now. And ironically, I'm not good in Bio.

And, yeah, I had meals rich in those things that contain glucose. You know, carbs. Hah. Well, for lunch YESTERDAY wasn't really RICH in carbs. That's because I DID NOT EAT. Hah.

So for dinner, it was so energy-giving. There was tumpi, nasi goreng pattaya, ayam goreng, potatoes, rice, etc. I forgot HAH. wait, I forgot something..

THE SENIOR PREPARED SPEECH COMPETITION 2008

For the 1st Category (Forms 4 & 5), the first speaker talked about Pollution. She spoke A BIT fast, so we can't really understand what she was saying. Oops. Then came Hafiz's turn. His speech title was "An Achiever". He was gooooooooood. I heard his speech beforehand. And so I remember it. Heh. Then came ... Izzah Farzanah (or as Zul would call her, si Putit. Haha funny story). She was LOUD. Hahaha. Then Kilah. Her body language wasn't really good. Hahaha. Sorry Ki, but your hands were really consistent. And that's boring, love. Hee.

The Second category (Pre-Us). Whoa!! Nice speeches mann!! First was Izzati, talking about self-confidence. Then Sarah Hanaa, who stated that P2F is better than American Idol (err..). Then Sulaiman, who spoke of the rate of obesity in Brunei (ookayy.). Then Mr. Ian Chan Zhao Xiang, who lectured about How to be the Perfect Party Host. Hahaha. Nice right? Yeahhh.

Truthfully, I wanted Ian and Hafiz to win. But both of them got second place. So, too bad. But I'm relieved Izzah won. Though not as relieved that she won just $10. Heh. You're in the NEWSPAPER, zah! Hahaha.

Okay, back to my whole carbohydrate "diet". Today was really carbohydrate-y. I mean, before Breaktime, in French, I ate the french fries (haha, irony) from Express. Courtesy of Mme. Rokiah. Then at Panglima Field Performance practice, I ordered Express. THEN, my Mum picked me up after picking my little sister from Ugama, then we picked up my sister (who has completed her 'A' Levels) at Brunei Times. THEN we went to KFC for dinner. Can you believe it? KFC! More carbohydrates! Heh.

So that's all I can type. I'm currently on Friendster, Blogger, Google, YouTube, and MSN; chatting with Ameer and Danial. Hahaha. See you.

ne voulais

Hahaha. Today is really both stressing, and stress-releasing. Hahaha.

School? There isn't much to talk about. My Malay, I scored 75%. And I failed my MIB. Hahaha. 17/50. WOW. Chemistry was NYEH. Continued the practical from yesterday. Titration, ku ANTAM SAJA.

Hahhaa. French was fine. Like always. My Sanctuary.. Hahaha. OOOOH. A. Maths! I like. I finished the first exercise given. And Kilah was like, "You finished it? Where do you find the time?!"

Hahahaha. The MS Youth Initiative Sketch people did a rehearsal in MA 5I during Breaktime. Hahaha. Didn't see it though.

After lunch is ..
panglima field performance practice.

Haha. I is not liking it. Stressful wahhh. Then at 2.30, Hafiz and I escaped practice to go to HADRAH practice. Yech. More stress. Though they were obedient and .. uh, good. HAHA.

Then Nasyid. God, how much stress is the maximum limit for ONE DAY? Yech. OH! Me, Hadry and Marzuqi wrote the Surah al-Fatihah on the whiteboard. Hahaha. How bored were we?

After all that, it's time for some stress relief. Santi and Nina were stress-relieving in front of the Audi by remixing Secondhand Serenade's Your Call. It was SO funny. Then we laughed and laughed and laughed a lot. Hahaha.

That's all I' m going to say. Bye for now.

what's coming out for ...

Biology was HARD. I studied mostly on the Form 5 topics, then came out Plant Nutrition, a Form 4 topic! ARGH.

Okay, let me start from when I woke up.

I woke up at around 6.10 ish, to the lyrics of Unbreak My Heart by Il Divo. Then I showered, got dressed and then I went to Abang's room to borrow his Wax. Then I went down to find my Mum had already went. Which was early for her. Heh.

Then we went to schoool. My bag was so BARAT I had to lug it on both shoulders. Hrmph. Then I went to class. I sat down, and "read" some Bio. Hahha.

Oh I forgot to tell you this, outside the Main Gate, Sir Don was walking on foot. I don't know why. Maybe his car broke down? I won't know.

First & Second Period: English. How ironic it is to start the day. He gave us our tests back, and I got 19/25. 19 x 4 = 76%. Not good. Then we did some corrections, then some vocab, then *ugh* Pictionary. Zul was funny. Too bad I wasn't on their team. Boo..

Third Period: MIB. Mummy Haiseh! Hee. She gave us back our BM Test Paper, instead of MIB. Like, wth? I got 74%. Which was fairly awesome, considering the paper was serious shit. Oops. Sorry, Mum.

Fourth and Fifth Period: Maths. D. Oh!! Test! It was okay. Better than I expected, actually. People said it was hard, I don't know why. I just hope I don't get low marks.

BREAK. Nothing fun here. Just hung out with Ze and Shar. Honestly, I feel that my connection with my classmates are getting further and further. I just feel close with Fuzah (sometimes), Emah, Izzah and Zul. Sigh.

Seventh and Eighth Period: Biology. Haha, test. Ugh. Ms. Ratni told us in advance that she won't be invigilating us for the test, so I expected either Ck. Juraidah or Ms. Norchua (both of them rock!). But then expectations dropped as Mr. Shabi (or whatever) came in. I sat at the very back with Zul, and we kept passing notes. Hahaha. Then minutes after the eighth period started, Ms. Ratni came in. Yay! Okay, Test rating: 8.7.

Ninth and Tenth Period: Chemistry. Wheee. I love. We did a practical. I love more. But then I had no positive tests, except for one, where I put magnesium ribbon into solution S, and bubbles of gas went. I put my thumb over the test-tube, lit a splint and put into the test-tube.
POP it went. Haha coooooooool. Hydrogen gas fo' shizzle.

OH, Fuzah and Emah kept saying Cooliees or whatever. Hahah.

Then HADRAH. Ugh. Dreading! The newbies and Haziq are so NOT serious about this! I want to win this year, and they are depleting the chances of winning for me and MS. Yechh. I managed to shout at them, and they went SILENT.

NOW WHO'S THE BOSS, EH?!

Then went Nasyid, then I went home.

Barbecue at Mr. Meer's house on the 26th of April. COOLIES. Hahaha. Bah, I'm tired.

what does that mean?

Here I am, on my stomach, typing this post, listening to "Bet On It" by Zac Efron. I am tired! It's a Sunday, yet I went to school from 9 til 2. Why? Practices for competitions. HADRAH and NASYID. I should REALLY stop joining competitions. But I want to WIN.

Yesterday, I went to the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports for the Ditrythmics (is that right, the spelling?) from Malaysia. They were BRILLIANT TERRIFIC AWESOME. Although I felt guilty for leaving my classmates to do the oh-so-HARD Maths.D test, I felt more relieve for escaping it! Hahaha.

The group from Malaysia -- most were graduates from the University of Arts, or something -- were great. They sang numbers ranging from German (I think) to Traditional Malaysian (Potong Padi and Suriram) to songs from theatrical performances such as West Side Story.

Okay, deja vu moment.

Back. The group sang You Raise Me Up, and it was FANTABULOUS. I was hoping for them to sing Unbreak My Heart. Hahaha.

Okay, it's a Sunday. So tomorrow, I shall start to stop eating lollipops. Euphemism. Hahaha. Okay. That's all. I am blank. See you.

things i swear never to do

Since the beginning of this year, I have promised myself ..:

1. not to smoke (anymore)
2. not to *eat lollipops everyday
3. not to pierce any part of my body
4. not to tattoo any part of my body
5. to try not to be active
6. to try and clean my room at least once a week
7. to sleep at a reasonable hour
8. to pray daily, even in school
9. to refrain myself from swearing profusely
10. to try and appreciate my friends.
11. not to take drugs, or anything Haram
12. not to hurt anyone's feelings.

"eating lollipops" is a euphemism of something inappropriate.

The first one has been broken. And the second. And the sixth, seventh, eighth and ninth. Hahaha. oh, and number five.

busy busy

I am so busy lately. And this is one of the moments I am free. Since February, I have Choir, Borneo Global Issues Conference (BGIC), Hadrah. The first two are over, but I have Hadrah Finals on 1st May.

This week is TOPICAL TEST WEEK. GOD! I hate that. I already had (rating, 1 easiest, 10 hardest):
- Melayu Islam Beraja (rating on 8.5 on the hardness scale)
- Bahasa Melayu (rating on 7)
- English (rating on 3)

So, I have left is
- Chemistry, tomorrow
- Maths Syllabus D, on Saturday
- Biology, on Monday
- Physics, on Wednesday
- French, I don't know when
- A. Maths, next Saturday

And, unfortunately, I take June 'O' Levels. I am taking
- French, as it is not offered on November
- History, 'cause I'm crazy
- Additional Maths, 'cause I understand it better than Maths D
- Biology, 'cause, again, I'm crazy
- Chemistry, 'cause I love Chem
- Physics, just to feel the pressure.

So, more than that, I am also involved in Nasyid (Preliminaries on 22 April), Gulingtangan (sometime in May). For now. Ugh. I won't have a birthday this year. Yech. I will be too busy to even reeply greetings. Hahaha.

if you can hear the police complaining...

this is only a moderate post, because i'm at my grandmother's house, and the connection is suckish. so, yeah. it has been an exhilirating week, and it's just friday.

it is 2008, and already it's confusing and tiring. what with the Hadrah and the Gulingtangan and the friends and the studies! I'm most afraid of the upcoming French June O Levels, since there's no French in November. I am not that fluent in French, and yet I took it. Yechh. Now I have to go, because my mum can't wait to go (but, this is where she grew up, so maybe that explains it). Okay then, cheers for now. I'll write in when I can.
