if we were a movie..

Finally! My June O Levels ended with a high note, and a large grin plastered on my face. The last paper was Additional Mathematics Paper 2, which was easier than Paper 1 by mountain ranges. Although there were some subquestions which I did not manage to figure out, I am pretty satisfied with my work.

It's been awhile since I last blogged, which was, er, within the first week of May. Wow. More than a month. And Izzah has been badgering me so that I update my blog. Nyeh. No Internet connection maaaan.

It seems that society can't get enough of dividing among themselves into groups and cliques. At the start of the year, there were 3 groups, the first being our group, the loud ones; the second being the other side's group, the 'posh' ones; and the last comprising of those who are quieter. The head of society took notice of these divisions, and blatantly, yet subtly, told us of his hope of having a unified society, one that sets aside their differences for the sake of happiness.

Still, no response. At the beginning of the year, I predicted that one of our people (in the loud group) will leave that group. And this will happen in around mid-year. Well, in April (I think), this somehow came true. One of the people in our group, let's call her Ladida, made rude comments on her public site about our friend, let's call her Anita. So Anita and Ladida underwent this minimal fight, but they eventually made up.. ish.

Soon, our group was called one by one to the Court of Justice, concerning Ladida and her best-friend's affair. She HAD to get everyone involved. God. For us, this had to be the second last straw. Ladida and her best friend, let's call him Cordial, were too itchy for premarital consummation. Yech. Control yourselves. So our annoyance for Ladida built up, catalysed by her constant questions that showed her low self-esteem, e.g. "Am I fat?", "Is my head scarf (tudong) okay?", blablabla. Heh, I should change Ladida's name to Blablabla. At least that suits her.

And finally, the coup de grace. I don't quite remember what happened, but.. WAIT. I DO! Ladida and Cordial broke their Best-Friendship Pact, and Ladida's self-esteem became lower. One minor move by Cordial was precisely monitored by Ladida. And she will get on everyone's nerve to go and ask, "Did you see that? Cordial just winked at me! You think he wants to be best friends again?" Yech. Get a grip! Then Ladida told everyone stories about her oh-so-blah fling with a dude, let's call him Tartar A-Tissue.

Back up! I forgot one detail, something about Cordial's "cousin", let's call her Dafeera. And we're back;

Ladida and Tartar A-Tissue "went out" last year, when Ladida and Cordial had their first Kitkat moment. Tartar A-Tissue is currently the best-friend of another friend ours, from another society, let's call her Seetha. And Ladida had the courage to greet Seetha and even wrap her hands around Seetha. Well, later that day (I think, or was it the day after), the group wanted to confront her, a plan spawned by (let's call them) Cheechaa, Marspin, Anita, Loose-ah and Tigra (all girls) and also Jewel (a guy). Hmm.. Their first confrontation didn't work quite as well as planned. But the next confrontation was a counter: Ladida confronted them.

Back up! Ladida had told Jewel to tell, er, stories to us about her "fling" with Tartar A-Tissue. And we're back;

I was there, but I concentrated on the assessment's sitting plan, with -er- Greeta next to me, and -uh- Reesha and Harz watching the confrontation. Hahah. Too many names, yes? Well, this happened around mid-May, so my prediction came true. So now, there are three major group, and one minor group. Well, the Loud group and the Posh group unofficially merged up together, with a similar mission, to uncover Ladida's story behind the stories.

Then, came Saturday. All was fine in the loud group (the new one), until one afternoon, when we were discussing about the soon-to-be carried out outing at the Pitcher Plant Beach. Then Anita, Loose-ah, Tigra and Marspin scribbled all over the page, saying that if one of them were not to come, none of them will. Co-dependent much? Well, this triggered Cheecha's anger, and she confronted them, saying, "If you don't want to come, just tell me."

The following Monday. I had my exam, so I don't quite know if I got the facts right. Tigra, Anita and Marspin are in a non-speaking terms with Cheecha because of the aforementioned confrontation. Yech. Now there are the quiet group, the bestfriend group (otherwise known as the itchy group), the posh group, and the loud group. The loud group are divided into three subgroups, with one side as the defendant, one side as the opposition, and one as the neutral. God.

Glossary:
- society: class
- head of scoiety: form teacher, Sir Picai
- Court of Justice: HEP/Students' Affairs Room
- public site: blog
- best-friends: partners
- premarital consummation: do I even have to tell you the meaning? consummation means sex, there.
- breaking the Best-Friendship Pact: breaking up.
- Kitkat moment: never heard of the Kitkat commercial, "have a break, have a Kitkat"? They're having a break, alright?

Oh, and I made my next prediction right after my first came true. The next one says that someone from our circle will have a nervous breakdown on 13th August. I don't know who it will be and why, and I just picked 13th August randomly.

Til then. Ta.

ich lieber dich -- 12.06.2008

Today was the Inter-School Dikir Syarafil Anam Competition, held at SM PAP Masna. The Maktab Sains' male team were the first to perform, due to SOMEONE's involvement in another competition. MATII. If he was just a reserve, we wouldn't be the first to go up in the first place. He doesn't even know the melody of the song. Argh. I won't mention his name, as I would probably be captured by the KDN.

Okay, from the beginning. Since most of the people who are in the team are MPs, we decided to all wear the MP slacks. Difference? Regular students (i.e. non-MP and non-PU) have purple/maroon slacks, while MPs have blue slacks.

The team comprises of me, Hafiz, Marzuqi, Nur Muhammad, Afif, Yazakka and Muqtadir. Reserves are useless, Yamin and Hadry. Our song is Alhamdu. It was sung by around 3 other schools, out of 20 ish. Our practises have been great, with a few adjustments here and there, most of us were able to reach the high note. And there are a LOT of high notes.

After we performed -- I won't delve into how our performance was -- we had to sit there until all 20-something schools were finished performing. And that's a lot of time to waste. The first few hours went by as slow as clouds passing by in still air. About 10 schools performed, some were bad, some were okay, and some were singing straight into the mike. Then there was the break. We ate right outside of the Hall, and then we went back in. There, we played games, such as 'pick between Bulan, Bintang and Matahari' and the Stare Game. Hahah. We were bored.

The girls FINALLY finished their performance. Their turn was the 18th, out of 22, I think. Their practises were enough to allow them to adjust to the high notes, while sitting down. Hrmph. And so we went back to school, nervous about the results. And it came via SMS from Cikgu Khairiyyah to Hafiz. We didn't make it to the finals. The girls did though..

Oh well, one down. More to come.

smiles and surprises -- 14.06.2008

Today is 14th June 2008. The last day for the second school term. Not many people came to school today. Hmm. But those who did had half the fun expected.

The day started off lazy. Boo. I woke up tardy. I went down tardy. I went to school tardy. Heh. For once, my mum didn't blow up at me for waking up late.

School was fine. We had two talks today. The first was from the Pusat Dakwah, under the Ministry of Religious Affairs. Honestly, I wasn't paying much attention to the words that came out of the, er, talk-giver (I couldn't find the word) or Dinie's mouth. Haha.

After the first talk, the Choir members who would be performing for the Bersama Rakyat at 20th July were called to the Conference Room for tailoring. And name confirmation. Huh.

The second talk was lively. It came from the Royal Police Force (Polis Diraja Brunei), talking about crimes around the country. It was fun, yeah. Loads of questions arose from any mind possible. Though I was looking forward to going out early, we were let out late. Hmmph.

I at last went about the canteen with Afham today. It's been too long since I last talked to him. And today is the first day I saw Mateen since we first chatted. I didn't see Fifi though. Wardah came, we took some pictures. She wanted to take a picture with all the 175 babes, but Raihan was a facilitator in Kem Qiadah, and Zimin was nowhere to be found until later. I also saw Wardah with al-Hafiz. I knew it. Her nick was al-h11<3>

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MUIZ MAHRI.

5N had a party today, an amalgam of celebrating Muiz's birthday and the last day of school. Whoa. Loads of food, and all of the class came. 5N is the most united class among my batch. It was awkward for me at the moment, because, well, I had that feeling when they didn't want me around. I had an excuse to leave: to accompany Zimah downstairs. It would be awkward for Zimah to come up, because she confessed yesterday. I am not going to tell you what she confessed, so yeah.

Rubik's cube! Halim was beside me at the second talk, and he solved it many times! Once he solved it, I would play with it. Hahah. And the in the afternoon Zimah brought hers (or her brother's). I'm half-sick of it by now. I brought my laptop, and I went online and checked some people's blogs. I also read my comments on my Friendster. I also took a Depression test. I am 37% depressed. Hahaha.

A lot happened between then and later. But I went divulge you with the information. At around 4, I went to the Audi with Wafiqah, Halim, Nani, Nina and Kilah. We were going to perform for the Forms 1 & 2. Panglima and Hulubalang was tied in First Place, which meant the judges were to lazy to break the tie. Or they were biased. Who were the judges anyway? I wasn't present during the real competition, as I had another competition of which I did not manage to get through into the Finals. Hrmph.

I was substituting Danial as a tree. All I had to do was scream 'Oh' and 'Ouch' and fall down and die. Hahah. The juniors laughed at the right times. Kilah and Ian was superb as the narrator and the pianist/singer respectively. Overall, we should've won. Haha talk about pride. Hulubalang's was funny, but some jokes I didn't get. Sorry (:

Oh well, I didn't get to greet Mateen though. Haha. Ta.

what has been -- 18.06.2008

The first Wednesday of the holidays, and I had to go to school from 8 am to 3 pm. I had Gulingtangan practice. I mean, our competition is on Thursday after next, and our songs are not yet harmonised. And today is the day to do it.

I was early, and so I waited at the Gym at first. There were Scouts camping since yesterday. I saw Chok -- excuse me, Mr. Chok -- walking to the Girls' Hostel with another unrecognised dude.

Hafiz asked me to bring my History notes, exercises and topical tests for his sister to borrow. I brought a whole bagful. And it was HEAVY.

I was the first to arrive for Gulingtangan practice, even before the teachers! Blablabla, Gulingtangan practice was fine. I recycled the composition of the songs for the violin from last year and the year before, because 2 of the songs are from past years, and another song is a newly played one. Insyirah, Imi and Waqi didn't come today. Mahfuzah went home early, and so did Sharon. Huh.

Wafaa brought her album, with pictures from Kem Qiadah. Her group was Kancang, with Ck. Fatimah and "Mr. Perfect", as Emah would call him. I'm not going to mention his name, but I will just say that Ian tried to imitate the way he walked: head faced front, body nonchalantly buffed, hands hanging from your shoulders. Hahaha. The last bit, I bet you didn't get. Caliii.

ANYWAYS, after Gulingtangan, Yazakka, Hafiz, Wafaa and I went to THE MALL to hang around. Notice I put THE MALL in bold, block letters. That's because it is LAST place I want to be. L O P K E N town much?

So we bought tickets to watch The Happening, out of majority vote. Hee. Then Wafaa had to go home early. Aish. No worries, she's seen it before. Hahah. THE Haunting was FUN. I didn't scream, although there were some parts that shocked me. Haha.

FUNNY BITS:
- We said hi to Cikgu Ayu, our lovely Ugama teacher in Form 2. She barely remembers Hafiz's, Yazakka's and my names. Haha
- There's this movie that's coming out soon. HANCOCK. Wow. Nice name. Then Wafaa told us that his little bro said 'Hanchuk'. Hahaha
- Window shopping with Yazakka and Hafiz. FUN.
- My birthday sake's ex tagur-ed me. Ha. Probably because of that one incident that involved me screaming at BARNEY.
- Munawwir not wearing his specs. Funny sight (:
- We came across Wardah's path, and apparently her CLOSE friend, Al-Hafiz, my senior. *fake smile
- Hafiz and Yazakka's microscopic fight in front of Jollibee. Hahaha.
- This funny question made by an unsignificantly hot guy in The Happening, "How much does the nose grow in a year?". Though you may not see why this is funny, but it is to me. Bitch about that.
- That incident concerning Nadzirah, her friend and her friend's boyfriend. Hahah. Shortened: Mengatil wah the boyfriend.

I think that should be it. Ta.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY DK. SITI AFIQAH AND DK. SITI AISYAH!
